“Three minutes in, the song explodes into a fuller sound, unleashing a longing melancholy. That may not be a feeling you’d think could be unleashed but “Burning Field” is proof that not only is it possible but Sayryn is authentically expressing it.”

-WeOwnThisTown

“My favorite surprise of the summer was discovering Sayryn, whose quiet-loud-quiet take on folk-grunge offers a refreshing alternative to contemporary ’90s revivalists. Cautionary Tales is a sparse and haunting collection of vignettes anchored by the powerful twin vocals of Bryn Jahna and Saya, who weave their talents around bleak depictions of youth and young womanhood. Perfect vibes for your next seance or coven meeting.”

- CLAIRE STEELE The Nashville scene

“On their debut album Cautionary Tales explore youth and young womanhood through ten introspective songs highlighting life’s complexities.”
